Rough Day for the Package

My package from UPS was broken and about a third from the end. Someone, I assume UPS tried to tape to the box together but two of the cuttings were completely broken. I’m let the broken pieces callous over, and then I planted them. Hopefully they survive.

All the cuttings were in perfect shape, physical graffiti seemed to get a head start against the other varieties

Arrived earlier than expected & in excellent conditions

Arrival: Individually wrapped with newspaper, looked very healthy; I like the AX cutting the most; it looks stronger (wider) than the rest.

Planted in pots same evening (since they had been in transit for a few days - with about 75% cactus soil & 25% organic compost)
They look very ‘happy’ in nursing stage: since our night time temp is in low to mid 40F+, I keep them indoor overnight; in the afternoon, I moved them out to the shady part of the patio for them to catch some brighter light when temp permits.

Looking forward to their rooting & when I eventually moved them to larger pots in the garden as the temp gets warmer. Thanks.
