Dark Star or 9-S is a hybrid by Paul Thomson. It is a cross between Rixford and Neitzel. The fruits has darker shade with good flavor.

Great start

The cuttings were fantastic and all have started with no issues. I’m sure I’ll be getting more as we expand our planting.

The fastest and most prolific

She grows very quickly, I have to prune this one the most. This year she has fruited 3 times, each more than the last. As long as her branches are plump and you only have two per branch the fruit are good size. The flavor is like a sweet kiwi.
